Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty: Know Your Nose Job Before You Commit

Sometimes it’s difficult to gauge whether you like something before you’ve even tried it out. And when it comes to cosmetic surgeries like rhinoplasty, people often struggle with making a commitment to the actual procedure, typically because they have one or more of these three main concerns: ‘what is the cost of rhinoplasty - can I afford it?’, ‘will the change be overly noticeable - will I still recognize myself?’, and ‘what if something happens when I’m asleep - is the anesthesia safe?’.

If you’ve been considering getting a nose job, but have been held back by anxiety over concerns about a rhinoplasty procedure, there is an alternative solution that is non-invasive and commitment-free. Non-surgical rhinoplasty (a non-surgical nose job) uses injectable dermal fillers to re-shape the bridge of the nose in order to obtain a more triangular, balanced appearance. These temporary fillers, like as restylane, perlane, radiesse, fill the crevices of the nose in order to mask bumps and excessive scoops in the nose to create a more triangular, aesthetically appealing look. They are also used to reshape the tip of the nose and width of bridge to create more symmetry.

Since the procedure is non-invasive, there is minimal-to-no downtime, so you’re able to continue the rest of your daily activities as soon as you’re finished. A non-surgical nose job is an incredibly quick procedure as well, lasting anywhere from 5-15 minutes, depending on the extent of the area(s) needing to be treated. Though the treatment is temporary, results last up to a year, allowing you to “test drive” your new nose before you commit to a permanent change. Another benefit to the non-surgical nose job is that it is adjustable, so if you think it needs to be tweaked in an area, the surgeon can easily add or diminish the amount of filler in just seconds.

Many people will pair the non-surgical nose job with the K-lift (the liquid facelift), our non-surgical facelift, which allows them to enhance their overall appearance. This procedure enables contouring and plumping of the skin to occur in an adjustable manner using dermal fillers. The K-lift (liquid facelift) uses a combination of dermal fillers to diminish lines around the mouth, smooth lines etched into the forehead and add volume to the cheekbones. The procedure has been dubbed the 1-hour facelift and has a minimal recovery time, so you’re able to return to your regular schedule after your facelift!
