People want options. Options are good because they provide people with an opportunity to decide for themselves what works best for them according to their concerns, tastes, or personal preferences. This is true across the board in everything from the menu at a restaurant to cosmetic procedures. For those who are considering changing the appearance of their nose, we offer surgical and non-surgical options.

Factors to Consider When It Comes to Rhinoplasty:

Do I need it for medical or health reasons?

Will rhinoplasty improve my appearance?

Can I have surgery?

Do I want to have surgery?

Can I afford a nose job?

What are my options?

Because everyone is different, their needs are different too. Surgical rhinoplasty, commonly known as “nosejob” is, after all, real surgery and the decision should be taken seriously, as there are risks associated with any surgical procedure. In some cases, where a nose job is determined to be necessary for your health, surgery is often the best way to go. Additionally, you may need extensive work as opposed to a “minor adjustment.” Surgery may be the best option in this case as well.

Nonetheless, you may not need major work done. Perhaps there are medical or physical reasons why surgery cannot be performed. Maybe it’s a simple matter that you just don’t want to have surgery or need a more affordable alternative. For these situations, non-surgical rhinoplasty is another option.

Generally, the procedure is fairly simple. In most cases, injectable fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm or calcium hydroxyapatite are used to alter the shape of your nose by filling in depressed areas, adjusting the angle of the tip or smoothing out bumps on the bridge of the nose. While non-surgical rhinoplasty cannot reduce the size of your nose, it is often very effective in correcting some breathing difficulties and augmenting some aesthetic issues to improve one’s appearance. In some cases, non-surgical rhinoplasty can even correct some mild birth defects.

Because it is not a surgical procedure, swelling and bruising are minimal and there is no downtime. The entire procedure takes about 15 minutes. Typically, the results are immediately apparent.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a realistic alternative to traditional rhinoplasty and produces immediate results. However, it is not the solution for any and all cosmetic issues associated with the nose. For major reconstructive work or for longer lasting results, surgery may still be the best solution. Nonetheless, it’s important to consult with a cosmetic surgeon to find out if non-surgical rhinoplasty may be an option for you.
